While using CryptoBarMen my funds were blocked. I received an email notification that the reason for the blocking was related to the AML policy. Then I talked to the exchange staff and found out that the blocking of funds was not initiated by them, but by the liquidity provider they work with, which means that they have no influence on such decisions and cannot control them. I thought it was a scam! I thought so because the AML of my funds showed 41%, which is quite acceptable for CryptoBarMen and every other exchangers. After going through KYC and confirming the transparency of my funds, I finally got my funds back. Of course, this shows that the exchange does return funds after KYC. However, I was 10000USDT to BTC. For the next 9 days I tried to please their provider, which sets its own rules and counts the AML value of funds somehow in its own way (getting significant differences from the values on publicly known sources). The exchange was also forced to fulfill the provider's wishes and could not explain the situation to him and find out any details. In general, during these 9 days, as you know, the value of BTC increased by 26%. It is not difficult to calculate the lost profit, which will not be reimbursed by the service, provider or anyone else. Thus, unfortunately, I am unlikely to use this exchange again, as there is no guarantee that next time my legal funds will not be blocked because the exchanger's provider saw something suspicious in it. Even the exchange itself doesn't have these guarantees....
